I Hate That We're in the Same Boat (but it makes me feel better knowing I'm not crazy for feeling this way)

So, recently I was thinking about starting a book or a project of some sorts that would illustrate the frustrations of the women who find themselves in the same boat as me. Now, in describing the boat, I want to stress that I am not trying to puff up my own ego, mainly these are observations of the other people who agree that we are in the same boat and what I find their qualities, talents and character traits to be like and I'm lumping myself in there because, well, it's the boat I hope I'm worthy.

This "boat" consists of beautiful, smart, funny, thoughtful, talented women who are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS) who are, for whatever reason, having a hard time getting a date. So here's the beginning of my project, to start blogging and put my thoughts and ideas out there.

For the record, this is not going to be a place where we are going to bash or bad talk the LDS young men for their flaws or other character attributes we feel that they should have because, frankly, I'm sure there are qualities that we can improve upon ourselves. And of course there are some things we can improve upon!! If we were perfect, we would have been translated already; I'm just saying. It's just going to be a place where we can say what's on our minds about every singles' favorite topic: Dating.
